Hi, reader. I wrote this in 2002 and it's now more than five years old. So it may be very out of date; the world, and I, have changed a lot since I wrote it! I'm keeping this up for historical archive purposes, but the me of today may 100% disagree with what I said then. I rarely edit posts after publishing them, but if I do, I usually leave a note in italics to mark the edit and the reason. If this post is particularly offensive or breaches someone's privacy, please contact me.
It just struck me that I'm moving. I was sitting on my futon in my comfortable living room and I realized that, in a few weeks, this will no longer be my home. I will have to get used to taking a different route every day after school, and having a different phone number and giving people a different address and different directions, and I'll have to adjust to a completely new space as my personal sanctuary.
I already have so very much else to which I must adjust, and I've piled something new on there. How very like me.
