Making Us Feel Old

Hi, reader. I wrote this in 2007 and it's now more than five years old. So it may be very out of date; the world, and I, have changed a lot since I wrote it! I'm keeping this up for historical archive purposes, but the me of today may 100% disagree with what I said then. I rarely edit posts after publishing them, but if I do, I usually leave a note in italics to mark the edit and the reason. If this post is particularly offensive or breaches someone's privacy, please contact me.

People born in 1991 are now old enough to drive in California.

Star Trek: The Next Generation debuted twenty years ago.

AAAAAA

My personal old-feeling methods include reminding myself that people born in years I actually remember are IN COLLEGE NOW. Also, that GSP (where I met my two best friends, learned to dance, developed the behavior patterns that would carry me through college, etc) was almost a decade ago.

But the ST:TNG thing is pretty frightening too. I hereby resolve to start dating it by the time it ended.
