Weekend, Weekend
Hi, reader. I wrote this in 2011 and it's now more than five years old. So it may be very out of date; the world, and I, have changed a lot since I wrote it! I'm keeping this up for historical archive purposes, but the me of today may 100% disagree with what I said then. I rarely edit posts after publishing them, but if I do, I usually leave a note in italics to mark the edit and the reason. If this post is particularly offensive or breaches someone's privacy, please contact me.
I am in a lovely sweet spot with regards to so-bad-it's-good internet ephemera. I don't come upon them myself and people don't forward them to me, but then I come across interesting people saying or making interesting things about them. Case in point: I have never seen the particular music video that led to Sergo Cilli's White Hot Top 5: Ark Music Factory Artists, Daniel Davies's comment on the "journeyman rapper", and a Stephen Colbert cover version. But those three results are fun.

I'm fond of Matt Mulholland's cover.
