Recent Dreams
Hi, reader. I wrote this in 2001 and it's now more than five years old. So it may be very out of date; the world, and I, have changed a lot since I wrote it! I'm keeping this up for historical archive purposes, but the me of today may 100% disagree with what I said then. I rarely edit posts after publishing them, but if I do, I usually leave a note in italics to mark the edit and the reason. Odd dreams I've had somewhat recently, that I feel I should record somehow.
- Around half a year ago, I had a dream that my mind was somehow, Timequake-style perhaps, transferred to the body of some kid entering first grade. I remember some sort of altercation with the Adults regarding using GNU/Linux on the computers in the school laboratory.
- Perhaps a week ago, I had a weird dream involving
spelunking with my friend Angel and discovering -- I kid you not -- a
pyramid formed by petrified dead evil leprechauns. I pushed it a tiny bit
and it fell into the abyss.
Also a very odd portion: I was inside a doctor's office and saw weird genitalia that subverted human anatomical norms. - Less than a week ago -- something involving the guy who played
Larry Applegate on "Perfect Strangers," and also involving seeing again
one of my elementary school teachers, who in reality encouraged me and
gave me a computer game that edutained mathwise. In the dream, there was
some necessity that I should take my "O-levels," even though I'm not in
England.
